Investigation into Friday’s fatal Highway 7 collision near Innisville between a Greyhound bus and a passenger vehicle continues.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators and members of its Forensic Identification Services Unit, along with Lanark County detachment officers, are involved in the investigation.

Twenty-nine-year-old Daman McCamon of Lanark, driver of a Volkswagen Jetta that collided head-on with the bus, died at the scene of the crash around 10:15am Friday west of Innisville.

Police says the eastbound Jetta crossed the centre line and collided head-on with the westbound bus.
Some passengers on the bus received minor injuries. About 30 boarded another Toronto-born bus later on Friday at the Carleton Place arena.

Highway 7 was closed for more than six hours after the crash.
