library-03-300x225The Perth and District Union Public Library has announced that it will be closed to the public from December 5-16 for renovations.

They’ll be moving shelving, installing a new circulation desk, and making the library layout better for everyone to use and enjoy.

But, you’ll still be able to get your fix - staff will host a ‘pop up library’ at Coutts Coffee on Gore St. every day from 2-3pm while the work is being done.

eBooks, eAudiobooks and digital magazines will also still be available 24/7 through the library’s website.

To access these items, all you need is your library card.

CEO Erika Heeson says the addition of the Old Fire Hall space has allowed them to open more space for the public.

The library invites the public to see the changes at our grand re-opening on December 17 at 10am.
