There’s a public meeting in Smiths Falls tonight discussing the Upper Canada District School Board’s pupil accommodation review process.
The Board is hearing from parents and the public to gather input regarding proposals to improve programming opportunities for students – a process that could see more than a dozen schools close.
The Rideau/Lanark South/Lanark North Families of Schools meeting takes place tonight at the Smiths Falls and District Collegiate Institute, at 299 Percy Street.
It begins at 6:30 p.m., but doors open at 6:00.
The Board is also live-streaming the meetings for those who can’t be there in person. You can watch it by clicking here.
In the event of inclement weather, an alternate meeting date will be posted on the UCDSB website, school and Board Facebook pages.
