Two face charges after daylight break and enter in DNE

opp-logo-300x241Two men are facing charges after a break and enter in broad daylight in Drummond North Elmsley.

The OPP say it happened on Monday afternoon just before two o’clock. Lanark OPP were called to the crime in progress at a business on County Road 43. The owner of the business had seen a white U-Haul Truck backed up to a house that is used for storage. Two men were at the house and both were arrested.

A 28 year-old from Ottawa is charged with: Break and Enter, Possession of Break In Instruments, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

A 31 year-old from North Grenville is charged with: Possession of Break In Instruments, Enter a Dwelling with intent, and Failing to Comply with Probation Order.

One was further charged with drug possession.

Both men were held pending a bail hearing at the Provincial Court in Perth.
