Library LogoIt's not your average walk in the park!

An exciting new project called a StoryWalk is being brought to you by the Perth & District Union Public Library and CROW/EarlyON Lanark County, in partnership with the Town of Perth.

A StoryWalk is a fun and original way for families to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. It combines exercise and reading to improve health and literacy in the whole family.

The pages of a storybook will be posted on a path through Stewart Park in Perth, inviting you to follow the story as you walk.

Join the Perth Union Library and CROW Lanark at 10am on Saturday, March 3rd in Stewart Park as we launch our StoryWalk with Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson, followed by a tea party at the library.

The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition (VBPC) and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
