The RCMP’s Musical Ride will be landing in Smiths Falls this coming Sunday.

You can attend the fundraising event for Heritage House Museum by simply making a donation on site.

Councillor Jay Brennan tells Lake 88 news it will be an exciting day. “The ride itself lasts for 30 minutes. After the ride there’s availability for people to come and see the horses and talk to the riders who are very accessible and friendly," said Brennan.

He added, "It’s free but we would kindly ask for a free-will donation to Heritage House."

Healey’s have donated some buses to pick people up around town if you are interested in finding where the buses stop you can call Heritage House at  (613) 283-6311

The musical ride takes place in Lower Reach Park from 2 until 4. All are welcome.

The Musical Ride, which sees a full troop of 32 riders and their horses performing intricate drills choreographed to music, takes place in nearly 50 communities across Canada. In 2016 the Ride made a stop in Perth.
