OPP launch investigation after recorded municipal staff conversations circulated in Merrickville-Wolford

News From Merrickville WolfordThe Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit is investigating allegations received by the Council and CAO/Clerk of the Village of Merrickville-Wolford related to recorded municipal staff conversations being distributed within the community.

Police are urging anyone that may receive, or has received, an unexpected package, not to handle it and call police immediately.

Anyone with information on this issue is asked to call the Grenville County O.P.P. Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122 or Detective Constable Tina Meldrum at the Kemptville Detachment at 613-258-3441.
