The Lanark County OPP responded to 409 calls for service over the past 7 days, including 32 vehicle collisions. Six involved a deer, while 5 occurred in parking lots.

One call involved the detachment itself. Last Tuesday, just after 9 in the morning, officers started an investigation after a report made directly at the Lanark County Detachment. A 49 year old man from Drummond North Elmsley is charged 1 Count of Criminal Harassment. He was released to appear at the Provincial Court in the Town of Perth.

That same day, at approximately 7:30 pm, officers were called to a home on Rideau Ferry Road in Drummond North Elmsley Township. As a result of the investigation a 43 year old woman from that Township was charged with 1 Count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm and 2 Counts of Assault.

She was released to appear at the Provincial Court in the Town of Perth.
