Smiths Falls posts budget surplus

The Town of Smiths Falls six-month budget monitoring report was presented to council on Monday July 24.

The town’s departmental budget summary shows a surplus of $202,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30.

“This was a rigorous analysis, that takes into account seasonal trends,” clarified CAO Malcolm Morris.
