Between Monday April 8, 2019 and Monday April 15, 2019 officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 428 calls for service. 

The calls included 30 Motor Vehicle Collisions. That included ten involving deer, seven in parking lots, four vehicles in the ditch, and one collision involving a turkey. 

Impaired Drivers
On April 12, 2019 Philip HALLADAY, 34 years old, of Central Frontenac was charged with Operation while impaired as a result of a traffic complaint on Highway 7 in Mississippi Mills. HALLADAY is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on May 6, 2019.

On April 13, 2019 Justin WHAN, 36 years old, of Central Frontenac was charged with operation while impaired following a traffic stop on Christie Lake Road in Tay Valley Township. WHAN was also charged with Operation while prohibited and Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle as well as Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Act offences. WHAN is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on May 13, 2019.

On April 14, 2019 Kyle McKITTRICK, 46 years old, of Beckwith Township, was charged with Operation while impaired as a result of mandatory alcohol testing at a RIDE program. McKITTRICK is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on May 13, 2019.

Domestic Incidents
The Lanark County OPP investigated 10 non-criminal domestic occurrences

Thefts
The Lanark County OPP investigated 16 reports of various thefts during the past week.

Mischiefs
On April 13, 2019 Daniel PHILLIPS, 23 years old, of Drummond-North Elmsley Township, was charged with Mischief to property under $5000. PHILLIPS was released on an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on May 6, 2019.

Five other mischief and property damage complaints were investigated this past week.

Frauds
The Lanark County OPP investigated eight complaints of fraud.
