Fatal ATV collision in North Frontenac

OPP in North Frontenac report that on Saturday, May 11th, shortly before 11:00 a.m. they were called to a report of an all-terrain vehicle collision on Hunt Camp Lane in North Frontenac Township.

The collision happened during an organized group event, with riders travelling between Norcan Lake and Ompah. The male driver of the ATV was travelling south bound, left the roadway and entered the ditch. 

Renfrew County Paramedics and Madawaska Valley Fire Fighters were on scene when police arrived.

The male, identified as 57 year-old Richard Culligan of Greater Madawaska Township, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

OPP Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene and the collision remains under investigation.
