Twelve teams qualified for the EOSSAA championship by placing first or second at their local championship. PDCI won the Lanark County championship last week (also held at the Perth Golf Course).

At today’s EOSSAA championship, Carleton Place High School golfer Ellis Kinnaird won the overall individual championship with a round of 74. Will Bellamy of PDCI was second with a 75.

The PDCI team scores were Bellamy with a 75; Rudy Boyce with a 76; Jonathan Rivington with a 77 and Tate Boyce with an 83. Each team counts their top three and PDCI won by an incredible 18 strokes.

After winning the LCIAA and EOSSAA boys golf championships, the team will now advance to the provincials in Kingsville on October 16 / 17.
