The Smiths Falls Police Service reports that on Tuesday afternoon, just after 1 o’clock, they investigated a single vehicle collision that saw a vehicle lose control and hit a house.

It happened when the driver turned off Brockville Street onto Alfred.

A teenage girl who was a passenger was injured and sent to hospital for treatment.

The 17 year old girl driving the car, was charged with Careless driving as a result of the ensuing investigation.

The Smiths Falls Fire Department and paramedics attended the scene, and police would like to thank those in the area for their assistance during this accident.
