Sole Sisters present proceeds from 7th Annual Charity Event for Cancer Research
It was a great day for the Sole Sisters and an even better day for organizations that help local cancer patients.
Co-Founder Sheila Coutts was joined by volunteer Susan Niblock, and Krista Wills as they presented cheques to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation in Perth and the Canadian Cancer Society.
The money will be used to help the Chemotherapy unit at the Perth site of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, and to help fund research to find a cure for cancer.
Over $12,000 was raised to help local cancer patients during the annual run and walk in Smiths Falls on October 27th, 2019.
Sheila said, “We are so grateful to everyone who took part, everyone who donated, all our amazing sponsors, and to all our incredible volunteers – without all of you this wouldn’t have been possible!”
