Court dates set in Peters sexual assault case
Jeffrey Peters, the Perth High School teacher facing four sexual assault, and four sexual exploitation charges had his first court date yesterday, December 16th.
Neither Peters nor his legal counsel Sarah Weinberger, were in the Perth Courthouse for the hearing. Instead Lawyer Kerry Weinstien of Hale Criminal Law, represented Peters as the judge in the case set court dates for legal disclosure and trial.
Presiding Justice of the Peace, Jaques DesJardin has set the disclosure hearing for 9:00 a.m. on January 13th at the Smiths Falls Courthouse.
He also decided on a date of March 2 to set a trial date.
