Smiths Falls tourism launches new online presence
The town of Smiths Falls Economic Development and Tourism department has launched the new Experience Smiths Falls brand.
It includes a new Experience Smiths Falls Facebook page to replaces the On the page and features 10 signature Smiths Falls experiences in addition to food and drink and lodging information. It also includes a new page on the town’s website with similar information.
“This was a key action item on the Town’s Strategic Plan,” said Jennifer Miller, manager of Economic Development and Tourism.
The page not only highlights tourism activities within the town, but also gives residents updates about events and activities happening in the community.
“A new hashtag has also been developed to build on the Experience Smiths Falls brand and is being used in social media,” explained Miller.
The new hashtag is #experince Smiths Falls, and residents and tourists alike can access the new website page directly by typing www.smithsfalls.ca/experience.
