Sat. Jan. 18, 2020 – Snowfall Warning issued, travel expected to be difficult
A snowfall warning remains in effect for the Lake 88 listening area. Environment Canada says 15 to 20 cm of snow s expected to fall this afternoon and tonight.
Snow, heavy at times, will reach areas west of Ottawa near noon then spread east across remaining areas this afternoon.
Total amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres are expected across the region by the time the snow becomes light and intermittent Sunday morning.
Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
