Carebridge teams up with North Market on ‘Mississippi Mills Together’
Carebridge exists to help others. And now we have teamed up with North Market owner Amanda Sears to do just that. It’s called Mississippi Mills Together – or MMTogether for short.
“It’s a win-win,” says Jeff Mills, Carebridge’s Community Development Coordinator. “We want to provide meals to shut-in seniors and support our local restaurants at the same time. And we also want to say thank you to our incredible front-line staff and volunteers who are going above and beyond in this difficult time. We hope local communities will help us by donating to the program.”
To support this new community program, please visit www.carebridge.ca and click on the “Donate Today” button in the top right corner of the page. All money donated will be spent in Mississippi Mills to provide local seniors with nutritious meals, provided by local businesses. Carebridge will also purchase gift certificates from local businesses and use them to say thank you to front-line staff and volunteers. A tax receipt will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
If you prefer your money go to another town in Lanark, just let us know by specifying the town in the note section on the donation page.
If you have questions, please call 613-256-1031.
