Carleton Place Library offers curbside pick-up
The staff of the Carleton Place Public Library are pleased to announce the launch of curbside pickup services.Patrons can place holds on library materials by phone, by email or through the website www.carletonplacelibrary.ca, and arrange for pickup by appointment.
Packages of materials will be placed on the front steps of the library upon arrival. Books, DVDs, magazines and audiobooks are all available for circulation. Patrons may also request a puzzle from the library’s popular Puzzle Exchange.
The library has also resumed material returns. Due to the large number of items still checked out the returns will be staggered alphabetically by last name. From May 21-25 patrons with last names beginning with letter A-G are asked to return their items to the blue returns box outside of the front doors of the library, followed by patrons with last names beginning with letter H-P between May 26-31 and patrons with last names beginning with Q-Z between June 1-4. All items currently checked out have had their due dates extended to July 1, 2020. All returned materials will be placed into quarantine within the library for 72 hours before being available for the next patron.
If you require a library card you may call or email the library at email@example.com to set up your new account.
