This is an added measure to the existing public health measures in place, to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The health unit asks that you please read their recent media release on the topic for a better understanding.

My heart hurts for the additional health care worker who has tested positive. Hopefully they will weather the virus through with no serious complications and a lot of support.

That being said, I am so proud to be a part of the Province that has respected the Medical Officer Recommendations with only 5 Community cases yet to be considered discharged and no community increase.

Hopefully we will also be proud of who and where we are in relation to how are Vulnerable Persons are treated in Long Term Care Homes/Shelters etc. In our area
