Four bodies recovered from scene of Sunday’s North Grenville fire
The OPP reports that they have recovered four bodies from the scene of a house fire in North Grenville
Police got the call for assistance on Sunday evening. When they arrived on scene the North Grenville Fire Service was fighting a fully engulfed home, described as a log cabin with a metal roof.
It happened on Stone Road in Oxford Mills Township not far from Kemptville.
Investigators have confirmed they have recovered the remains of four people. While their identities have not yet been confirmed by the Regional Coroner’s Office, family members have been notified.
The incident remains under investigation by the Office of the Fire Marshal and the Coroner’s Office, with the assistance of Grenville OPP.
