UPDATED 10:30: Highway 7 re-opened east of Perth after overnight two vehicle collision

The stretch of highway 7 east of Perth that had been closed after a two vehicle collision early this morning has re-opened.
The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene at 12:55am this morning.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
They report the lone occupant of one of the involved vehicles was transported to the Ottawa Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Further information regarding the collision will be released when available.
