STAY AT HOME ORDER
As of Thursday April 8, 2021, the entire province of Ontario, including the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit (LGLDHU) region, is under a Stay-at-Home Order.
This Order requires everyone to remain at home except for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services (including getting vaccinated), for outdoor exercise, or for work that cannot be done remotely.
This Order is expected to last at least six weeks.

Reg. 82/20: RULES FOR AREAS IN STAGE 1 detail what public health precautions must be taken, including what types of businesses/organizations can open and operate and related public health measures. Check our Ontario’s COVID-19 Response Framework webpage for more information on how the Province’s measures affect the Leeds, Grenville, Lanark area.
Before attempting to book a vaccination appointment, please click here to see if you are eligible to receive the shot. You can also use the eligibility tool to find out if you qualify. The tool is updated regularly.
APPOINTMENT BOOKING INFORMATION
The province’s new online booking tool can be found at www.ontario.ca/bookvaccine. The Provincial Vaccine Information Line is 1-833-943-3900 (TTY 1-866-797-0007) and is open Monday to Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm. The Local Leeds, Grenville, Lanark Booking Centre toll-free number is 1-844-369-1234. Hours of operation are 8:30am to 4:00pm, 7 days a week. The email option that was offered by the health unit is no longer available.
The province has now provided a schedule showing when different age groups can use the provincial booking tool to book an appointment.
- 55 and older can book as of April 30th, 2021
- 50 and older can book the week of May 3rd, 2021
- 40 and older the week of May 10th, 2021
- 30 and older by the week of May 17th, 2021
- 18 and up will be by the week of May 24th, 2021
PHARMACIES OFFERING VACCINES
There are local pharmacies in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville that are now accepting COVID-19 vaccine appointments for those 40 and over. You have to contact the pharmacy directly to book your appointment. You can do that by clicking here to be brought to the provincial pharmacy locator page. There you can enter your postal code to get the list and contact information for the pharmacies closest to you. All have individual links to help you book your appointments and other location-specific information.\

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
Lanark County Mental Health has established a COVID-19 Mental Health Hotline from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Anyone seeking assistance in dealing with mental health issues can call toll-free 1-833-283-9979.
