The Roadmap to Reopening

As of Friday, June 11th, 2021, Ontario has moved into Step 1 of the government’s Roadmap to Reopening. 

  • the provincewide vaccination rate
  • improvements in key public health and health care indicators

The province will remain in Step One for at least 21 days to evaluate any impacts on key public health and health system indicators.


The province’s new online booking tool can be found at The Provincial Vaccine Information Line is 1-833-943-3900 (TTY 1-866-797-0007) and is open Monday to Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm. The Local Leeds, Grenville, Lanark Booking Centre toll-free number is 1-844-369-1234. Hours of operation are 8:30am to 4:00pm, 7 days a week. The email option that was offered by the health unit is no longer available. 

As of Tuesday, May 18th 2021 at 8 AM, all Ontarians who will be 18 or older in 2021 can book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment.

As of May 23rd, all youth aged 12–17 became eligible to receive their first dose of Pfizer vaccine. The  Health Unit will have special Youth Clinics across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville counties during the weeks of June 14 and 21 specifically for youth to receive their first dose of vaccine. Information on those clinics will be released shortly.

There are local pharmacies in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville that are now accepting COVID-19 vaccine appointments for those 40 and over. You have to contact the pharmacy directly to book your appointment. You can do that by clicking here to be brought to the provincial pharmacy locator page. There you can enter your postal code to get the list and contact information for the pharmacies closest to you. All have individual links to help you book your appointments and other location-specific information.\


Testing for COVID-19 is by appointment only. Please click or tap here for the latest testing information from the health unit. Lanark County Mental Health has established a COVID-19 Mental Health Hotline from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Anyone seeking assistance in dealing with mental health issues can call toll-free 1-833-283-9979.
