Smiths Falls native Bailey Andison heading to Tokyo Games
Smiths Falls Native Bailey Andison has qualified for the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer.
Andison, who is an alumnus of the Perth Stingrays Swim Team, will represent Canada in the 200 m individual medley.
Andison’s mother told Lake 88 that she qualified for the games because she recorded the second fastest time in Canadian history a while back at another competition in the event. She was invited to be a part of the team based on that performance.
Pool swimming at the Tokyo Games will take place during the week of July 24th to August 1st.
Andison joins Mike Brown as alumnus from the Stingrays to qualify for the games.
