Carleton Place man killed in single vehicle collision in west end of Ottawa
The OPP are investigating a fatal collision that took place early this morning on Highway 7 in west Ottawa that claimed the life of a Carleton Place man.
It happened at about 5:03 a.m. Officers with the Ottawa Detachment of the OPP responded to the single-vehicle collision on Highway 7 eastbound around Hazeldean Rd.
The investigation found the car left the road and rolled, crossing the grass centre median before coming to a rest in the westbound lanes The 32-year-old man from Carleton Place who has not been identified was the lone occupant of the vehicle. He died at the scene.

A detour was set up at the scene as OPP collision investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash.
