With just a week to go before students head back to school, the Upper Canada District School Board is making sure parents and students know what to expect when they head back.

They have reached out to their families, letting them know they have created a COVID-19 info centre online, featuring their Return to School Guide for Families, a frequently asked questions section, and information about steps to improve the safety of schools.

The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario has taken a similar approach. They have also posted their school re-entry plan online.

It is broken down into sections for parents and students, including consultation and communication, school site preparation, notes for staff and students, and hygiene and cleaning.

Both boards plan to offer at home learning for families that need to go that route.
