LGL HU – Daily COVID-19 Data: Ten cases added, six in the past 24 hours
The following information is issued Monday through Friday by the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.
The health unit has added ten cases of COVID-19 in its latest surveillance report, including six from the past 24 hours.
There are now 31 active cases. Five of them are in Lanark East and four are in Lanark West. TYwo are in Leeds-Grenville’s Central Region, two in the Western Region, and there are now 16 in the Eastern Region. That’s an increase of four from yesterday. There are also two cases that are listed as being from outside the region.
One person is in hospital, in the ICU on a ventilator.
There is still only one outbreak listed. It’s at a workplace and has been linked to two cases.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 1,856 confirmed cases of the virus in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville with 1,765 recoveries (an increase of four since yesterday) and 60 deaths.
