LGL HU – Daily COVID-19 report – seven cases added over long weekend, 18 recoveries also recorded
The following information is issued Monday through Friday by the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.
The health unit added seven new cases of COVID-19 over the long-weekend, including two in the past 24 hours.
The number of hospitalizations has increased to two. Both are in the ICU and one is on a ventilator.
The number of active cases has dropped to 11 after 18 more recoveries were reported. There are three cases in Lanark East, and one in Lanark West. In Leeds-Grenville there are four cases in the central region, one in the east, and two in the west.
We will get the latest data on outbreaks and vaccination numbers later today.
Since the beginning of the pandemic there have been 1,921 cases of COVID-19 in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville, with 1,849 recoveries and 61 COVID-19 related deaths.
