Here’s how to get your enhanced COVID-19 vaccine certificate with a QR code
We are now able to download QR codes to be used as proof of vaccination for entering non-essential businesses. A step-by-step guide follows. You’re not downloading an app, but rather an enhanced vaccine certificate at the provincial vaccine verification page.
- People born in January, February, March or April can get their codes as of Friday, October 15th
- People born in May, June, July or August can get their codes as of Saturday, October 16th; and
- People born in September, October, November or December can get their codes starting Sunday, October 16th
- Anyone who misses their day can download their certificate with QR code as of Monday, October 18th
Make sure you have your health card before you begin.
Once on the page, click on the appropriate answers to the questions at the bottom of the page starting with this one:
Once that’s done, click the button to move on,
then click to move on to the next page.
Once the page loads, scroll down until you see this:
You will then be brought to this page where you will enter your health card information.
Once that is complete, a new page pops up. Click on this:
Click on this:
You will be brought to your certificate, complete with QR Code. At this point you can download or print it so you can present it when needed.
