Patient Safety Week is wrapping up for another year.

Jason Hann a Vice-President at the Almonte General Hospital and Fairview Manor tells Lake 88 that patient safety has been front and centre during the pandemics with a number of restrictions in place. He also says it’s evolved in the past 18 months.

He also says the pandemic emphasized just how important visitors are to patients. The restrictions means that patients couldn’t have traditional visits.

Now that they have resumed the impact on patients has been notably positive.
