LGL HU – Daily COVID-19 Report – three cases added, five more recoveries
The following information is issued Monday through Friday by the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.
The health unit has added one new case of COVID-19 to its totals in the past 24 hours and two more cases to previous days’ reports.
With five more recoveries, the active case count has dropped to 28. There are nine in Lanark West, and none in Lanark East. Smiths Falls is considered part of Lanark West and is host to an outbreak at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School that had been responsible for as many as a dozen cases.
In Leeds-Grenville there are four cases each in the central and eastern regions with ten in the western region.
One case is listed as being from out of the area.
There remain four people in hospital, with one in an ICU.
Since the beginning of the pandemic there have been 2,061 total cases in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville, with 1,969 resolved and 64 deaths.
