Carleton Place Childcare services at 3 Francis Street is letting parents and staff know there has been an individual who has tested positive for COVID 19. They have not said if the individual is a child or staff member.

A message was sent by Tracey Freill, the centre’s manager and director, and shared by Councillor Tobey Randell on social media.

Others have also tested positive through rapid tests and are waiting for PCR tests, and direction from the health unit.

If further spread continues, it could affect the daycare’s hours, and room closures are also a possibility.

Anyone who is directly affected is being notified through the daycare’s communication protocol.
