As parents continue to wait for word on whether kids will be going back to school as scheduled, Premier Doug Ford says that a decision will be made in the next few days.

Speaking at a workplace vaccine clinic in Mississauga on Tuesday, Ford said cabinet will meet soon to determine if Ontario schools are reopening to in-person learning in January.

Our local school boards had students bring all of their belongings home before the break just in case there was another school shutdown.

Our health unit had declared four outbreaks in schools within Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville leading up to the Christmas break.

Ford says that his cabinet is discussing the issue now.
