Discussions are underway in Smiths Falls with Lanark County Interval House for an art installation that will honour survivors of gender-based violence.
It will be a mosaic, like the ones in Mississippi Mills and Carleton Place.
Interval House Executive Director tells Lake 88 news, it will serve the community in many ways.
She adds, it will give the town a place to gather, remember, and honour.
Lee says the process of creating the mosaic is about bringing people together. It’s about people who have great intention to produce art to honour victims of gender-based violence and serves to offer a place of reflection.
