The following information is issued Monday, Wednesday and Friday by the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.

Another COVID-19 related death has been recorded in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville. The toll is now 74.

The health unit is reporting 20 COVID-19-related hospitalizations in today’s report, the last of the week. That’ the same as it was in the last report Wednesday.

The number in the ICU is down by one and sits at five, while one person is on a ventilator.

There are still 18 outbreaks in the region, with 15 in congregate care facilities like nursing and retirement homes accounting for 188 cases. Of note, the outbreak at Lanark Lodge has been declared over.

Two outbreaks are in communal living facilities, and only one is listed as “other”. The outbreak at the Smiths Falls Hospital is off the books.
