Public welcomed back to Mississippi Mills council meetings, vaccination policy to be revisited
Mississippi Mills Council welcomed the public back to the gallery at their latest council meeting on Tuesday, March 15th
The municipality say as the province moves forward with re-opening, the municipality has also started to open council chambers to the public. Pre-registration is required due to limited seating.
Meetings will continue to be live-streamed and available on their website mississippimills.ca too.
In addition to opening up meetings, Mississippi Mills will also review its vaccination policy for staff and council.
Councillor Bev Holmes brought the idea forward calling it a restrictive policy, and said council should consider whether they want to keep it in place as the Province relaxes mandates.
The idea to review it received unanimous support and will go to the April 5 council meeting for official approval.
